The EMDR method “The pain is gone. It’s magic!”

“The pain is gone. Magic!” – So say many people who have tried the DPDG method.
However, it’s not magic. It’s neurophysiology.

EMDR is a technique with a specific protocol of action. Through bilateral brain stimulation, the technique helps the psyche process the traumatic episode and reduce the emotional charge, resulting in relief for the “here and now” and an adequate response to a similar trigger in the future.

The EMDR method was developed by Francine Shapiro in the 1980s to work with PTSD in military veterans. It provided quick relief from their traumatic experiences.
